Total production of rubber auxiliaries in China will continue to rise in 2020
On March 12, 2020, in the latest statistical report released by the Special committee of Rubber auxiliaries of the China Rubber Industry Association, the total production of rubber auxiliaries in 20192019 is 1.231m tons, up 5% year-on-year, and processing auxiliaries, vulcanizing agents and peroxide, special functional auxiliaries and pre-dispersed rubber auxiliaries have different growth rates. Among them, anti-aging agent increased by 3.7%, processing AIDS increased by 13.4%, vulcanizing agents and peroxides increased by 12.5%, special functional AIDS increased by 7.1%, and pre-dispersed rubber AIDS increased by 106.7%.
It is understood that in 2018, the rubber additives Professional Committee of China Rubber Industry Association, the total output of 47 member units of rubber additives reached 1.172 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.8%, and the growth of accelerators, vulcanizers, peroxide and processing additives maintained. Since the 21st century, China's rubber auxiliary industry in the rapid development, as of 2018, the proportion of foreign rubber auxiliary production has been from 2001 accounted for 84% to about 24%, China's total rubber auxiliary production has broken through 1.17 million tons, accounting for 76% of the world.
With the continuous development of rubber products industry at home and abroad, the demand for rubber additives in China is increasing. It is expected that the total production of rubber additives in China in 2020 will continue to grow, especially the new type of rubber additives such as pre-dispersed rubber additives.
